Tools are a vital part of daily operations in any trade. Yet, with a highly complex product like Microsoft Mediaroom, the publicly available toolbox is pretty empty so far.
Sometimes a minor void in Mediaroom is a large enough problem that a simple, sound solution would benefit the entire Mediaroom community. In those situations, time-resource permitting, we like to contribute our skills for the good of the community to help out our numerous colleagues who work in Mediaroom environments day-in, day-out just like us. You can't go wrong with free utilities, so let us help fill your toolbox with some valuable utilities that will make your life easier.
Our first utility is called the Configuration Validator. In short, it will help you build Custom XML configuration changes that are both Schema & Syntax validated. Please contact us for more details on this tool.
Of course, this is only our first contribution to the Mediaroom community. We are working on various other utilities which makes operations/troubleshooting a breeze no matter what aspect of Mediaroom you are working on.
